A BIT ABOUT ME

Hi there, I’m Rowan. Thanks to my daughter Sara for taking the photo!

Having lived in London all my life, I have recently relocated to Oxford.

I’ve been taking photography seriously for about the last ten years, during which time I’ve shot hundreds of thousands of images. The one thing above all else that has made photography such a passion for me is the people that I photograph - it never gets boring, as there’s endless variety to be discovered.

I started out with taking pictures of my children Sara and Tomek, quickly moving on to street photography. Wandering the streets of London, capturing the scenery and the characters who inhabit the city. Plucking up the courage to take my camera out in public and engaging in street photography really built my confidence and my love of photographing people.

In addition to photographing weddings, I currently do ongoing solo event photography for Harrods. I have also been involved in corporate photography for organisations such as British Airways and the Alzheimers Society.

I love doing family photography as well..

Besides taking pictures, I love music, guitars, reading and technology. I’m not ashamed to say that I am, on occasion, prone to being a little bit geeky when it comes to camera gear and new technology…although I fully appreciate the value of keeping things simple :)
